The first mention of Syniak resort dates from the XVIII century. There was a legend that locals noticed their animals were sick rarely. They tried local waters, took baths and felt a rush of adrenaline and energy. 
Since then Syniak has become famous and water with bluish color has been considered with healing features.
Syniak resort rapidly gained popularity and in 1936 the owners of Mukachevo valley Shenborny decided to build pools and showers for taking baths. The old medical building has been preserved to nowadays and it is one of peculiarities of Syniak resort.
Location
Syniak resort is located in Zakarpattia oblast; it is not far from Mukachevo. It is at an altitude of about 450 meters above the sea level and is surrounded by mountains, covered with dense forests; it is well suited to those who want heal and restore the harmony of the soul.

Although the infrastructure of this resort, including winter rest, has not yet been well developed, but breathtaking views and ability to combine treatment and skiing is attractive for many tourists.
There are two lifts in Syniak: for 350 m (horizontal multi-lift) and for 1200 m (vertical rope tow). Tracks are mainly intended for beginners.
