Location

Hotel "Highlander" is located in the picturesque place at an altitude of 720 m above the sea level in Pylypets village Zakarpattia oblast Mizhhiria region. It is 5 km to the center of the village. Near by there are rope tows:

high-speed rope tow - it is for the track of length of 1500 m;

chair lift - it is for the track of length of 1000 m;

for beginners - it is training for the track of length of 500 m;

lifts for beginners and children.

There are two snowcat for ascent to the mountain Gemba.

Distance from the railway station Volovets is 15 km, to Mizhhiria is 25 km, to Uzhgorod is 150 km. The hotel is located among pine and beech forest at the foot of Borzhava dale. Beautiful views are from the windows of the hotel, in particular of mountain tops - Vysoky Verkh Mountain (1598 m), Stoy (1681 m), Gemba (1498 m). It is 850 m away from the hotel is the waterfall Shypit.

The hotel "Highlander" actively participated in the preparation of the Freeride European Championship in 2012 in Pylypets.

Description

Hotel "Highlander", Pylypets provides cheap accommodation in the rooms of the different level of comfort. Hotel "Highlander" offers 10 rooms in two cottages in Pylypets. At to the guests' service is the wooden restaurant, Russian bath, rental equipment. Territory provides all facilities for the rest: a lake for fishing, playground, summer house, chargrill. Each of two cottages has rooms of the following classes: "economy", "standard", "junior luxury suite", "luxury suite", "family". All furniture is made of wood, water and heating are individual, cold and hot water is 24 hours.

Each room has:

All rooms of the first cottage have balconies, most of them have refrigerators. In the second cottage all rooms have large terraces. The hotel is welcomed guests by arrangement with small animals.

Hotel "Highlander" of Pylypets village offers meals in the wooden restaurant according to the menu which is based on traditional dishes of European, Hungarian, Ukrainian cuisines. The grill is using for preparation of some dishes. Only fresh ingredients are using for cooking. The menu includes trout caught in local pond, wines of Zakarpattia, branded liqueurs. There are also fixed meals for guests.

Breakfast in the restaurant costs about 35 USD.

The wooden restaurant has a summer terrace, a sightseeing tower.

It is proposed walking tours into mountains, horses ridding tours, excursions by bus - across Zakarpattia, towards to the thermal spring in Beregove etc. It is also accepted suggestions as to excursions tours.
